The University of Information Technology and Management is one of the leading non-public universities in Poland. The Department of Intelligent Systems and Networks is a part of the Faculty of Applied Computer Science.

Dmitry Zaitsev, Professor

Atsuo Murata, Ph.D

I received my master’s and doctorate degrees in industrial engineering from Osaka Prefectural University (now Osaka Metropolitan University) in 1985 and 1987, respectively. Until September this year, I lived in Hiroshima and worked at Okayama University (professor, Department of Intelligent Mechanical Systems, Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology).

Mirosław Hajder, Ph.D

Doctor of technical sciences (Kiev University of Technology, 1990), Master of Computer Science (Ukrainian National Technical University in Kiev).

Research interests focus on cybersecurity, edge computing networks and CAD / CAM / CAE systems. He also deals with the design, construction, implementation and operation of information systems of industrial enterprises. In this regard, he conducts research, expert opinions and consultancy. He actively participates in many IT projects carried out at the university.

Janusz Kolbusz, Ph.D

Janusz Kolbusz  received his MSc degree in 1998 from Rzeszow University of Technology, Poland. He received his PhD degree in telecommunication engineering in 2010 from the University of Technology and Agriculture in Bydgoszcz, Poland. His current research LAN traffic modeling and focuses on the GMPLS networks.

Janusz Korniak, Ph.D – Deputy Head of Department

Janusz Korniak received his MS degree in 1997 from Rzeszow University of Technology, Poland and since this year he has been working at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow as teaching and research assistant in the Department of  Intelligent Systems and Networks.. He received PhD degree in telecommunication engineering in 2005 from University of Technology and Agriculture in Bydgoszcz, Poland. His current research focus on reliability of optical transport networks. Janusz Korniak is the author of numerous scientific publications in this field. Currently he works in UITM as associate professor.

Nataliia Poliakova, Ph.D

Mateusz Liput, M.Sc. – Secretary of Department

Mateusz Liput received his M.Sc. degree in telecommunications engineering from Rzeszow University of Information Technology and Management in 2019. He is working at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów, Poland, as a assistant in the Department of Intelligent Systems and Networks. Interests related to computer networks and security.

Kamil Dembowski, M.Sc.

Master of Computer Science with the specialization: Cisco Network Infrastructure and Services (University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów, Faculty of Applied Computer Science, 2019)

His research interests focus primarily on the developing technologies of the Internet of Things and cybersecurity. He is also interested in computer networks, computer network security, operating systems, and virtualization techniques.

Lucjan Hajder, M.Sc.

Władysław Czajka, Ph.D

Doctor of technical sciences, Rzeszów University of Technology, awarded by the Resolution of the Council of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aviation on December 19, 1990.

Master’s degree – full-time studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, completed on June 11, 1980 in the field of mechanics, specializing in machine technology.
